Efficient and decent staff, they made my day!!

The service was excellent in my opinion.

I interacted with the polite staff.

Lots of products for a delicious breakfast.

The room was warm with a splendid view of the garden.

Tranquil location to Swithland Reservoir.

The grounds are beautiful, showcasing a fine grade one listed building. Having a seating area in the room.

The amenities were decent but could use some upgrades.

A pet-friendly hotel with delicious food. Marvellous and tranquil location minutes away from Rothley Park Golf Club. Positioned in the lovely area. A really comfortable stay for one night.

Very traditional house. The check-in was friendly and helpful.

The staff at the dinner and breakfast seemed to be uneducated and unmotivated.

The superior double room was spacious with a great separate seating area. The friendly staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Despite the nice grounds, cleanliness in the public areas was lacking. Remnants from previous events remained throughout the evening, which affected the dining experience. The restaurant being understaffed created an awkward atmosphere.

Thouroughly enjoyed our stay. My family was made to feel very welcome. Picturesque venue & very pleasant gardens to unwind in. Would return.

Breakfast first day undercooked full English, second day smoked salmon and scrambled egg much better. The location bar and staff were all good the rest very poor

Great staff, food poor breakfast and evening meal one day and good the next so inconsistent. Nice location for bar and grounds nice building, room very poor, tv extremely small, bed old and springs gone. Tbh premier inn was better for room etc

beautiful period hotel with charming attractions nearby

I really enjoyed the gorgeous period hotel with lots of character and the ample opportunity to explore beautiful nearby parks like Beaumont Park, just over 2 km away, perfect for a leisurely stroll, while the cute, friendly staff was good. The room, however, could definitely use a thorough cleaning.

We loved the old charm of the hotel,and the grounds it was set in were lovely, and just a five minute walk from the village

The hotel was good but, this is not a complaint but some parts of the hotel looked very tired for example the outside of the window frames paint was flaking off and on the hotel annexe the window frames were totally rotten this made the place look bad but would stay again

Beautiful ambience and setting. Friendly but not over-baring staff. Beautiful room and lovely food. Was staying for business, but it was a pleasure. Wish I'd been staying for longer.
